There are a large number of offences relating to attending football matches. Some can be committed unwittingly (eg if you have had a drink before the game and an over-zealous security officer believes you are drunk, a fight breaks out near to you and the police arrest everybody in the vicinity). There are other offences that are committed and it is clear that it is an offence (racist chanting, entering the field of play).

In any event if you are convicted you will have a criminal record and you could well be made subject to a football banning order (FBO), which would effectively bar you from attending football matches for a lengthy period of time.

We have a proven track record of successfully arguing against the imposition of FBO’s and successfully defending individuals wrongly charged with football related offences.
