Divorce or dissolution of partnership is the legal process by which the marriage or civil partnership is brought to an end.  To obtain a divorce or dissolution of civil partnership, you must have been married or in a civil partnership for at least 12 months and must be able to show that your marriage/partnership has irretrievably broken down.

Ending a marriage or civil partnership can seem daunting when there are various issues to sort out such as the children and money matters.  Ending the relationship is also a stressful and emotionally difficult time.  At Lichfield Reynolds we aim to help you resolve matters both quickly and efficiently and also as sensitively at what can be a difficult time for the whole family.  We can help you to deal with matters in a cost effective and efficient way to suit your individual needs.  Legal Aid may still be available for you depending upon your individual circumstances, and if not we have fixed fee packages available.  Please contact us for more information.  For more information about divorce, please click here to read our leaflet.
